Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, manage corporate tax accounting workpapers, and support tax audits and compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns and estimated payments.
  • Oversee preparation and review of tax workpapers, including depreciation, amortization, and apportionment schedules.
  • Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on federal and state compliance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws across various locations.
  • Review and support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations.
  • Maintain internal controls related to tax compliance and filings.
  • Assist with accounting for income taxes, including effective tax rate calculations and deferred tax analysis.
  • Record and review monthly transfer pricing documentation and related journal entries.
  • Maintain FIN 48 and other tax reserve computations and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Tax and Finance teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Leverage tax technology tools such as OneSource Tax Provision, Oracle, HFM, Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, and Word.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a strong accounting focus.
  • CPA certification and/or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of income tax concepts, planning, and compliance.
  • Experience with federal and state/local tax research and analysis.
