Position Summary:  

Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is looking for a?Senior Graphic Artist/Multimedia Specialist?to develop and administer training and development programs supporting one of our government clients in Columbia, MD. 

 


Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, develop, deliver, evaluate, and administer nontechnical training and development programs.?
  • Identify performance/behavior gaps, make recommendations, and provide solutions to improve business performance, increase retention, or develop future leaders.?
  • Determine costs/benefits and create high-impact, low-cost solutions.?
  • Research externally available programs.?
  • Oversee the design and presentation of training programs.?
  • Review and evaluate program effectiveness. May personally conduct selected programs.?
  • Serve as a technical resource for programs developed and presented.?
  • Determine training interventions to best meet requirements or needs.?
  • Market the benefits of training and development of employees as a means of continually improving our workforce.?
  • Maintain relationships with line managers to be aware of potential training needs and assist them in analyzing performance deficiencies with their employees.?
  • Assess training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) using multi-level tracking and measurement systems.

 
Qualifications:? 

  • Experience supervising, coordinating, and providing leadership to and reviewing the work of assigned staff.?
  • Experience supervising individual contributors in technical positions and/or entry-level professionals.?
  • Experience estimating staffing needs, assigning work, recommending candidates for employment, making recommendations for termination, conducting performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff, and applying company policies.?
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 8 - 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 - 8 years of experience.?
