Overview
Contract Management:
Generate, negotiate and manage NDAs, TAs and other related agreements.
Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and work with the pricing department to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability
Negotiate and administer FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts/subcontracts.
Prepare contract/subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations.
Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of contracts/subcontractors and make recommendations to management for potential corrective action
Interface with Project Control Analysts (PCAs) and Accounting Department regarding cost reporting issues
Serve as the main liaison with Vendor contracting representatives
Assess Vendor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts
General Contract Management:
Attend weekly capture meetings and internal standups; assist in task tracking and note taking
Update Project Portals with project setup or modifications, as necessary.
Assist in Contracts Directors with department-wide projects
Expectations: This individual should be able to proactively work on their portfolio with intermittent oversight from their supervisor.
Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related major
Minimum 0-5 years of contracting experience, Federal contracting experience preferred.
Experience working with FAR/DFAR, procurements regulations and legal specifications
Experience with supporting subcontract management teams
Experience with handling negotiations on behalf of the company
Experience with Approved Purchasing Systems
Experience interfacing with internal customers and all levels of organization
Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn and effectively apply new resources, processes and procedures
Clearance Level: Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a clearance
