Essential Functions:

Trade Compliance Backup for Vacation: (Please note that these activities will require access to the following Avient Systems, SAP, ACE, G Drive and Trade Compliance email.)

• Broker instructions for Imports
• Export Filings for Outbound Shipments
• Response to status requests
• Approval of manual shipments
• Preparation of Free Trade Certificates for signature by employee with POA

Manufacturing and Substitution Duty Drawback claim preparation: (Please note that these activities will require access to the following Avient Systems, SAP, ACE, G Drive and Trade Compliance email.)

• Preparation of monthly and yearly spreadsheets for drawback broker.
• Reconciliation of submitted claims

Other Services: (Export licensing will require access to BIS SNAP R system.)

• Working with Avient employees to design more automated drawback system and training on final product.
• Export licensing training and submission.
• Regulatory interpretation for unique/complex situations.

The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following:

Work Environment:

• Works in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
• Position may require visits to construction site

Physical Demands:

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines

Travel:

• May require infrequent travel (typically not overnight)
