Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and manage Field Managers, Assistant Field Managers, and Crewmen
  • Ensure timely performance evaluations are conducted for all production and field staff
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are disseminated and followed
  • Create a safe working environment for employees and subcontractors
  • Maximize fleet usage and minimize rental equipment costs
  • Conduct pre-job meetings for assigned jobs and attend other pre-job meetings
  • Coordinate plant delivery schedules with the Plant Purchaser
  • Source, purchase below budget, and schedule delivery of bulk hard materials and rentals
  • Oversee preparation of submittals

Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quickly
  • Comprehensive knowledge of landscape installation and Landscape Construction techniques
  • Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and achieve targeted levels of productivity
  • Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers
  • Ability to project a professional image and a positive attitude at all times
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with customers and vendors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
