Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment department of Regulatory Services seeks a Research Analyst. The Regulatory Services division works to ensure regulation of quality of animal feed, fertilizer, seed, and raw milk so that Kentucky consumers have access to superior agricultural products. The Research Analyst position will prepare and analyze fertilizer and feed samples for analysis of nitrogen, protein, potash, and salt. This position will be a backup for the analysis of phosphorus & potassium via ICP, gravimetric phosphorous and sulfur and NIR & GC analysis of hemp for THC. Other duties may be assigned as needed by a supervisor as part of a supportive role that can include all fertilizer and feed analysis.
