Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). Frequent evening and weekend work. Daytime hours will be flexible to make room for evening and weekend responsibilities.
Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Fraternity and Sorority Life office is seeking a Fraternal Housing Coordinator, who will be responsible for the overall management of a university owned chapter house.
Responsibilities include:
- providing on-site monitoring of residential facilities by living full-time in the chapter residence
- daily interaction with student members
- communication with various offices and campus partners
In addition to working within the chapter house, Fraternal Housing Coordinators help support the overall functions of the fraternity and sorority community at the University of Kentucky, which consists of more than 5,600 students representing 50 chapters across four councils.
Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision-making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Experience working with fraternities & sororities.
Experience working in a residence hall or other group living situation.
Evidence of administrative and advising skills.
Good interpersonal skills and judgment.
Independence and professionalism.
Experience working with leadership development programs.
Experience planning educational programs for students.
Computer skills (particularly experience with databases).
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Prefer a Master’s degree in Student Personnel, College Administration, or a related field.
