Position Summary: 

Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is looking for a Web Developer to support one of our government clients in Columbia, MD. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop custom programs for websites that attract and appeal to users, providing the desired information.??
• Create web applications and components from the requirements stage to design and production deployment.?
• Develop new Web applications through packaged and customized applications.?

• Create web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessible. Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.?
• May create a company-wide Intranet.?
• Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.?
• Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.?

 
Qualifications:? 

• Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and?ColdFusion.nts.
• Career-level understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.?
• Possess a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.?
• Working under only general direction, able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.?
• Able to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.?
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 yrs of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 to 5 yrs of experience.
