Job Summary


The Project Expeditor - AT works in a highly organized and proactive manner to support the manufacturing of complex fabricated systems by ensuring smooth communication, timely delivery of resources, and efficient coordination of project activities. The Project Expeditor plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of information and materials across departments to ensure that project milestones are met on time and within budget.


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination and production operations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to track and monitor project timelines and deliverables
  • Provide efficient support to production teams to minimize lost time due to project-related issues
  • Assist the project manager in tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and facilitating solutions to keep the project on schedule
  • Coordinate workflows between various production activities and facilitate communication between functional groups to efficiently resolve production issues before they impact the project
  • Work closely with procurement, operations, quality, and project management teams to monitor supply chains, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Assist in preparing project reports and updates
  • Identify and resolve logistical issues
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks
  • Manage change orders and documentation updates
  • Facilitate meetings and follow-ups with project teams
  • Periodic domestic travel required depending upon customer and company business needs
  • In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • AA or AS degree in Engineering Technology field or equivalent experience
  • 1 year minimum experience in project coordination
  • Nuclear industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency and experience in using MS Office
  • Proficiency and experience in using project management software and tools to monitor progress and communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
