In this dynamic position, you'll be the go-to person for managing and optimizing our License Plate Reader (LPR) system. You'll be at the helm of troubleshooting software concerns, collaborating with vendors, and helping Parking Services run like a well-oiled machine. Your expertise in system administration will help us offer a smooth and efficient parking experience for all. So, buckle up-this is going to be an exciting ride!
What You Will Do:
- Own the LPR System: Implement and manage the License Plate Reader (LPR) program from A to Z. You'll be the LPR guru who makes sure everything runs like clockwork.
- Tackle Tech Challenges: Troubleshoot software issues and work directly with the software vendor to ensure everything is running smoothly and meeting the unique needs of Parking Services.
- Maximize Efficiency: Create workflows and processes that help Parking Services run at peak efficiency-because we don't just park cars, we park them right.
- Data Magic: Work with Parking Services staff and administration to generate ad hoc reports, customize features, and respond to special requests.
- SQL-Savvy: Partner with ITS (Information Technology Services) to request any additional SQL programming or report writing needs for the LPR and parking management systems.
- Be the Tech Liaison: Serve as the technical system administrator for all Parking Services computer systems, ensuring a seamless connection between various parking platforms and the people who use them.
- Collaboration is Key: Work alongside Parking Services staff, ITS, and vendors to ensure all systems are optimized, issues are quickly resolved, and everything is running smoothly.
- Hard Hat Needed: Assist with planning and observation of new parking lot construction and maintenance.
- Calculator in Hand: Work alongside Financial Affairs to develop the annual budget for the Parking Services operation.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications-Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management or a field closely related to the position.
-2+ years in a Project Coordinator or similar role
-2+ years managing or implementing software systems or IT related experience
-1+ years budget or financial reporting experience
-Years can be concurrent
