Position Summary:
The People & Culture Coordinator will support various P&C processes throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with policies and regulations. While reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, this role will involve partnering with the entire P&C organization (business partners, org development, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits). The People & Culture Coordinator will serve as one of the P&C HQ site contacts.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Internal Customer Service – Provide exceptional customer service to employees by answering employee requests and questions (via email, in-person or phone), triaging to the appropriate Business Partner or Center of Excellence for resolution. Serve as one of the P&C points of contact for the HQ site location.
  • Employee File Management – Maintain and update employee files and records within Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. (eVerify for new EEs, term i9s moved, name change checklist, updating corrective action documents, and potentially downloading other documents from WD to update EEs file)
  • Data Entry and Audits – Perform accurate data entry into Workday and conduct regular audits of employee records and data to ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Reporting – Generate and distribute P&C reports, such as headcount, turnover, and compliance reports as needed
  • Self-Service Guidance – Assist employees, managers and P&C with Workday self-service tools and resources, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Letter and Verification of Employment (VOE) Creation – Draft and issue verification of employment requests.
  • Expense Management – Support the budget tracking & expense management/payment processes for P&C activities including creating POs, using Oracle to track invoices per payment, and liaising with Accounts Payable where appropriate
  • General Administrative Support – Provide administrative support to the P&C team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing P&C- related documentation
  • System Troubleshooting – Assist employees with troubleshooting issues related to Workday and/or other P&C systems, escalating concerns to the appropriate team as needed.
  • Backup Event Support – Provide backup support with coordinating day of preparation and execution for on-site events as needed.
  • Backup Onboarding Support – Provide backup onboarding support and facilitate new hire orientation when the primary onboarding facilitator is unavailable to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned
    Experience, Education and Qualifications:
    • High school degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field
    • Three years of experience in a P&C support role or similar administrative position.
    • General understanding of P&C processes and best practices.
    • Experience with data entry, Workday (or similar HRIS) experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
