Salary: $115, 000.00 - $125,000.00/Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
Summary of Position:
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for driving product adoption and market success by bridging product development, sales, and customer needs. This role focuses on executing go-to-market strategies and enabling cross-functional teams to maximize product visibility and revenue growth.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market research to identify growth opportunities, assess regional trends, and adapt strategies to local consumer behaviors
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for polymer material products.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform positioning.
- Build business cases and value propositions for new product introductions
- Develop product positioning and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate from competitors. Oversee global brand messaging, ensuring consistency across all communication channels while tailoring content for regional audiences
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, CRM, Shopify) to enhance brand visibility and lead generation. Engage with prospects using social media to drive traffic and enable sales
- Work closely with creative team to generate marketing collateral (datasheets, case studies, web content) and sales enablement tools to articulate product benefits
- Develop launch plans including sales tools, technical data sheets, packaging, and promotional materials
- Partner with sales and technical teams to gather VOC (voice of customer) data.
- Conduct market segmentation, targeting, and pricing analysis.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry forums
- Train internal and external sales teams on product features, competitive advantages, and customer pain points to improve conversion rates
- Monitor campaign metrics and analytics, analyze ROI, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights
- Manage and update the product portfolio roadmap.
- Monitor product performance and profitability; recommend improvements or rationalizations.
- Identify growth opportunities through product enhancements or adjacent applications
- Work with sales, product, and regional teams to align marketing initiatives with sales pipelines and customer acquisition goals
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
- Assists in special projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Materials Science, Business, or related field
- 5+ years in product marketing, preferably in Dental, with a track record of successful product launches
- 5+ years’ experience in product marketing or technical marketing preferably in polymers, advanced materials, or chemicals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international customers and global product lines.
- Familiarity with sustainability trends in polymer materials (e.g., bioplastics, recycling).
- Comfort with both B2B technical sales environments and commercial strategy
- Familiarity with MS Office, SAP (preferred), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools
