Overview:

The Lead Infrastructure Manager will lead Tier-2 support for ODNI Mission-Ready IT Operations and Cyber Modernization AWS, Azure GCC-High, and on-premises systems, to ensure secure and reliable operations. This support will include management and execution of automation techniques for repetitive tasks, as well as streamlining tools to optimize Cloud Service Provider onboarding, system management, and resource optimization.



Responsibilities:
  • · Maintain operational readiness and provide advanced engineering support for production systems across hybrid cloud platforms (primary are AWS and Azure GCC-High with Google and Oracle clouds as secondary) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • · Perform proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex incidents escalated from Tier-0/1 support.
  • · Ensure secure, compliant, and resilient operations for critical IT infrastructure and services.
  • · Manage traditional network engineering tasks such as VLAN management, configuration backups, and real-time device monitoring.
  • · Support endpoint engineering tasks including desktop/laptop provisioning, imaging, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • · Conduct regular performance assessments of IT systems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or remediation.
  • · Perform other traditional IT maintenance and provide oversight including: Network device monitoring, performance optimization, and configuration management; Endpoint lifecycle tasks such as provisioning, imaging, patching, and hardware replacement. Routine infrastructure management, including power, cooling, and hardware lifecycle tasks for legacy systems.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • · Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, engineering, or relevant STEM field.
  • · At least 10 years of demonstrated experience providing software intensive technology projects within complex IT environments.
  • o Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Software Development Life Cycle processes and successful delivery of high-quality software applications
  • o Experience leading large, enterprise web-based software applications with complex data federation demonstrated by working with software teams of over 25 staff members
  • o Experience leading development and maintenance of software applications employing Microsoft technologies including AWS, Azure, DevSecOps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ITL 4, and ServiceNow
  • · At least 5 years’ experience on an IT or Systems Engineering (SE) related program
  • o Experience working with and supporting intelligence IT.
  • o Experience responding to and expeditiously resolving system availability disruptions and maintaining continuity of operations through ITIL processes
  • · At least 5 years’ experience/knowledge with principles of cloud computing, systems administration, network engineering, and data warehousing using third party hosting providers
  • · Experience with the application of Business Intelligence (BI), integration of both structured and unstructured data in support of operational processes, and management of a diverse workforce to solve complex information management challenges
  • · Experience with cloud service providers, both Government and/or commercial, as well as collaboration efforts with DISA.
  • · Top Secret Clearance with a Counter-intelligence Polygraph

Preferred:

  • · A master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, engineering, or relevant STEM field.
  • · Certifications in Agile, AWS, Microsoft, ITIL v4, and/or ServiceNow
