Compensation: $22.81 / hour
Iron Pourer
As an Iron Pourer, you will be transporting molten metal from furnaces to molds and collecting samples and /or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.
How You Will Help
Operate forklift. Upon obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product
Will operate ladles and hand held controlled mechanisms to pour regulate flow of molten into sand molds to produce castings.
Transport molten metal from furnaces to molds.
Accurately read temperature gauges.
Collect samples and /or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.
Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
What You Will Bring
Must be available for weekend and overtime assignments as required.
Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
Must be able to discern imperfections, understand quality of repairs of iron holders / ladles.
Must be able to understand basic addition to tally units per training.
Must be able to learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions.
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training.

Starting pay rate $22.81 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd
