7a WEPP – will work every Saturday & Sunday, 7AM-730PM, 24 hours / week.
This is a Weekend Premium Position (WEPP). Work 24 hours / week , get paid for 32 hours/week.
Job Summary
Trauma DCN will assist with patient flow through the continuum of care by working with HOA & physician teams. Provide added leader oversight for the service line on all shifts 24/7. Assist with monitoring quality measures & assuring joint commission readiness for all shifts. This position will also provide assistance with staff mentoring & educational support while on shift. The Trauma DCN will also be the first line of contact for service line when nursing leadership is not readily available.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
KBN RN licensure. Critical Care nursing. Trauma/surgical critical care preferred. ACLS & TNCC will be required
