Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR team! This role supports the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. You'll serve as a trusted partner on sensitive matters, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns; document and escalate as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching, corrective actions, and investigations
  • Support HRBPs with performance and discipline documentation
  • Identify trends and share insights for proactive HR planning
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies

Performance & Policy Execution

  • Track and follow up on performance cases
  • Draft corrective actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and coaching documents
  • Promote consistent application of policies across teams
  • Support rollout of HR initiatives and engagement programs

Hiring & Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, offers, and new hire onboarding with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs
  • Answer policy questions related to hiring and onboarding
  • Draft and revise job descriptions as needed
  • Monitor onboarding experience and flag issues for resolution

HR Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Support HR processes like open enrollment and leave administration
  • Partner with HR Coordinator on employment status changes and data accuracy
  • Monitor process timelines and follow up on outstanding items

    Expected Skills and Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of HR Generalist or related experience, with emphasis on employee relations and performance management
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance in multi-site environments
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365; HRIS experience required (UKG Pro preferred)
    • Experience with exempt and non-exempt employee populations
    • Familiarity with benefits, leave management, and payroll impacts
    • Discreet, empathetic, and professional in handling sensitive matters
    • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
    • Comfortable working independently and influencing without authority

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience managing employee relations cases from intake through resolution
    • Ability to clearly explain HR policies and procedures
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable handling difficult conversations and supporting leaders through them

    Travel:

    • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
