Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, has to be flexible to do the early and late shift. Earlies start 3am - 11:30am and Lates start 11am - 7pm
Location: Redhill, RH1 5EH

?WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take the Lead: Oversee our busy daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers
• Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve!
• Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
• Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best
• Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!
• Have clear understanding of Objectives and KPI's applicable to your role and your team
• Collate all feedback against plan in the daily operations log for use in plan/do/review calls
• Responsible for full and effective daily brief/debrief for DHL, agency and sub-contractor drivers
• Ensuring all drivers are appropriately trained and familarised with both operations and equipment - (only where there is no regional site compliance teams)
• Accident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures
• Ownership and accountability for driver induction, training and qualification are up to date for drivers reports - (only where there is no regional site compliance teams)
• To schedule, prepare and conduct quarterly 1-2-1's with all direct reports in line with OMS guidelines
• Manage disciplinary and grievance in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures

?WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Logistic Industry and supervisory level - essential
• Transport Management experience - essential
• Transport legal compliance
• CPC Preferred but not essential
• Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship
• Hold an International CPC Qualification
• Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
