Position: IT Solution Manager- DFN (m/f/x)
Contract Type: Full time- Permanent

Location: EMEA

We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Manager to join our dynamic DFN team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and challenging logistic process requirements while ensuring that solutions are pragmatic and effective in real-world scenarios. You will manage both internal and outsourced work, inspire your team, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance our logistics applications. Your expertise in logistics processes and E2E supply chain management will be essential in delivering high-quality, efficient results that align with DHL's strategic objectives.

 

Your Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Understanding and challenging logistics process requirements to ensure optimal solution design.
  • Managing both internal and outsourced work in an organized and methodical manner, maintaining accurate records and reporting progress.
  • Inspiring and managing team members to achieve high quality, speed, and cost efficiency while upholding personal and professional ethics.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, fostering effective relationships.
  • Coaching colleagues on specific expertise and skills to promote growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Influencing and driving a strategic view in projects and solutions, emphasizing best practices and high efficiency.


       

What Are We Looking For From You:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT software implementation or customization of logistics applications within DPDHL or similar organizations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (HBO/Hogeschool) in an IT or business discipline, or relevant experience in the supply chain and/or logistics sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of logistics processes, including warehousing and transportation.
  • Strong managerial skills with a pragmatic mindset, capable of navigating real-world challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2 level), with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • A commitment to developing others, providing regular feedback, and inspiring team members to achieve their potential.
