JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Brakes and HVAC Repair Technician assists in the repair or overhaul of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and electrical equipment.

Essential Functions

Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
Disassemble equipment and clean as needed.
Perform initial evaluation and inspection of equipment as assigned. Provide feedback as to what parts & labor are needed for repair.
Document evaluation findings and generate a Technician Evaluation Report.
Routing of wires and installing crimp terminations and/or connectors.
Test and record results for subassemblies and assemblies.
Perform component level and some system level testing as instructed.
Interpret readings of gages, indicators, and dials.
Assist in testing equipment and recording test results.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment as instructed.
Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company's rules and policies.
Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations. Be energy conscious, if applicable.
Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO/TS 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and CMMI).
Maintain and safeguard business records
Technician will be trained HVAC repair skill and EPA 608 certification will be required
Assist and train others as needed.

Technical Capacity: controls and instrumentation
Mechanical Aptitude: equipment maintenance, mechanical inspection tools and tooling
Time Management to ensure equipment is ready for scheduled repair or overhaul

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word (data entry and report writing)

The anticipated wage for candidates who will work in Union City, CA is $25.62 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education
