Function of Position:

Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor, this position assists in providing general outdoor spaces upkeep to ensure the functionality of the Grounds department.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs specific duties to assist in ensuring Grounds work is maintained. Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with Trash pick up
  • Assist with Weeding and Gardening
  • Assist with General Maintenance - cleaning outdoor areas, picking up litter and ensuring common spaces look presentable
  • Assist with event set up and clean up - helping set up outdoor spaces for events
  • Assist with Minor outdoor repairs - painting

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be Federal Work Study eligible (you can confirm your eligibility with a Financial Aid representative)
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience in landscaping or general ground maintenance.
  • Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently



Additional Information:

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

Hours per week: 20 Hours per week
