Position: Professor of the Practice

Description:

The School of Architecture at Princeton University seeks a distinguished practitioner who is engaged in architectural design at the highest level to join the SoA as a Professor of Practice. Candidates must demonstrate their qualifications to teach and advise both undergraduate (A.B.) and graduate (M.Arch.) students in design and demonstrate their scholarly contributions and standing in architectural design with a strong record of significant built works and exhibitions. The applicant must have a demonstrated track record of leadership in the profession. It is expected that the successful candidate will also actively participate in the design curriculum through design reviews, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, beyond their normal course offerings. Expected Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000


The University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, work experience, education/training, key skills, market, collective bargaining agreements as applicable, and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The posted salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate for a full-time position; salaries for part-time positions are pro-rated accordingly.
