Project Control Analyst - Military veterans preferred

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a mature and independent professional to join our Project Control Team in support of corporate operations in Lexington Park, MD. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where the successful applicant will have the ability to take on new tasks and evolve, and ensure operational excellence to both RMC's customers and our program management professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial analysis and revenue reporting for the program management team.
• Serve as the expert on financial issues.
• Interpret and properly track funding documents.
• Prepare and review detailed invoices, monthly financial reports, and contract deliverables.
• Assist in navigating policies, regulations, and requirements specific to each project.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain financial budgets and estimates, aligning with the project and company’s goals.
• Collaborate with program management team and external stakeholders to effectively develop project budgets.
• Present accurate and concise financial reports to stakeholders.
• Analyze issues and recommend solutions.
• Prepare contract and subcontract financial documentation.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, external and internal stakeholders, and the company.
• Preform other duties as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in financial management, project control, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Experience with all contract types.

• Knowledge of program finance or business operation support.

• Microsoft Office experience with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent communication, written and verbal.

• Have a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $70,000 to $120,000 (annually).
