The team sit alongside other JLR employees and are responsible for the distribution of vehicles from the UK plant, out in to the foreign markets via shipping lanes. They manage the route to port as well as the shipping schedules in to the receiving port in order to get the vehicles to the market.

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• The JLR FVS team is an implant role managing a team of Transport Cooridnators and a KPI analyst in the JLR offices in Solihull
• Stakeholder management ensuring clear and effective communication with the customer
• Respond to or escalate customer issues within clear guidelines and recommend solutions. (e.g delays/reporting failures to systems)
• Regular team 121's setting targets and objectives, working on career plans and employee development
• Manage day-to-day performance, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs and other internal KPIs (eg. safety, operational, employee related etc)
• Account reviews with the customer on a monthly and quarterly basis identifying service level improvements
• Conducting 1-2-1's, performance reviews, absence reviews, training opportunities and resource planning meetings.
• Approve monthly invoices and ensure they are submitted to the customer on time and paid within 30 days

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience within a Team Leader/Supervisor position within a Warehousing/Supply Chain environment or similar is essential
• Experience of managing a team is essential
• Proven track record in a customer service environment
• Excellent communication both verbally and written
• Strong communicator at various levels - ability to assess individual customer needs
• Automotive industry experience/knowledge would be desirable
• Experienced in using Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong presentation skills
