Order Entry Representative


The Order Entry Representative’s (OER) primary responsibility is to accurately and efficiently process orders received from customers. The OER plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are entered promptly and accurately into ASC’s systems, facilitating smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.



How You Will Help


  • Receive and review incoming orders via various channels (email, phone, online platforms).
  • Verify order information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately enter order details in the company’s order management systems.
  • Communicate with customers and/or internal stakeholders to clarify order details and/or resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Inventory Management, and Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Maintain organized records of all orders and related documentation in ASC systems and platforms.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to order processing, including but not limited to inventory availability, pricing discrepancies, or shipping concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries related to order status or other order-related matters.
  • Continuously strive to improve order entry processes and efficiency, suggesting and implementing enhancements where applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Will Bring


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in order entry, data entry or a similar role. Preferably in a fast-paced B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in order management systems, Outlook and other MS applications. CRM experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands, with ability to work overtime on occasion.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive customer experience.
