Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Client Services Officer to play a key role in providing outstanding client service to high-net-worth clients while supporting the relationship management team in delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day client service administrative functions, handling complex service requests, and ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
As the primary point of contact for all client administrative needs, this role builds and maintains trusted relationships by providing timely, accurate, and personalized service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wealth management services, trust account administration, and client onboarding procedures.

Essential Job Functions of the Client Services Officer:
- Provide exceptional service through proactive communication with new and existing clients.
- Respond quickly to client questions, requests or concerns.
- Authenticate and process client transaction requests
- Partner closely with the internal client relationship team to ensure seamless, consistent and coordinated client service delivery
- Onboard new clients and maintain accurate, up-to-date records for a variety of investment management and fiduciary account types.
- Utilize in-house system to review and resolve account alerts in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to investment and fiduciary accounts.
- Collaborate with attorneys, accountants and other professionals to support clients and identify potential business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for clients and deliver exceptional service by developing strong relationships, communicating effectively and anticipating client needs.
- Handle service requests in a timely manner with professionalism, discretion, and accuracy.
- Partner closely with the internal client relationship team to ensure seamless, consistent, and coordinated client service delivery.
- Authenticate, review for accuracy and approve transaction requests in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
- Provide an exceptional onboarding experience for new clients through effective communication throughout the process and attention to detail ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across a range of investment management and fiduciary account types.
- Utilize internal systems to monitor, review, and address account alerts in a timely manner as well as electronically maintain all client documentation.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with regulatory, legal, and fiduciary requirements.
- Lead or contribute to projects focused on enhancing client service quality, operational efficiency, and overall process improvement
- Collaborate with attorneys, accountants and other professionals to support clients and identify potential business opportunities.
- Provide guidance, mentorship and support to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- This position is based in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Required Education / Experience of the Client Services Officer:
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management or fiduciary services
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in wealth management, financial services or client service roles strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of Chevy Chase Trust's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
