Position Summary: 

The audiovisual (AV) Onsite Support Technician – II  is responsible for supporting, operating, and maintaining audiovisual (AV) and IT systems at our client’s facility. This role requires a strong background in professional AV systems, including audio, video, and control, as well as a solid understanding of computers and networks.

The ideal candidate brings several years of experience in AV system maintenance and event support, is highly detail-oriented, punctual, and demonstrates excellent communication skills. This position demands a high level of customer service and professionalism, as it involves frequent interaction with executive-level clients.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 
  • Associates degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience providing technical or onsite support within the AV/ IT industry;
  • Must obtain AVIXA CTS certification within one year of hire;
  • Proficient wtih both Windows and Apple operating systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in operating, troubleshooting, and adjusting integrated AV/IT systems.
  • Skilled in using industry-specific software, hand tools, and test equipment.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including some weekends, based on customer site needs.
  • Demonstrates innovation, passion, and a willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of accountability and emotional intelligence.
  • Maintains high standards of professionalism and integrity.


Responsibilities 

  • Provide onsite support for client meetings and conferences, including setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment.
  • Coordinate AV resources and logistics for meetings and events, from large-scale planning to last-minute requests.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all AV equipment, including video conference and audio DSPs, video walls, and projection.
  • Providing preventative maintenance care to clients ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently.
  • Diagnosing and resolving control system issues with remote support as needed. 
  • Monitoring client's tracking system for repair requests and managing ticketed incidents to resolution.
  • Plugging into Creston controllers and using Toolbox to make modifications to system settings.
  • Installing and removing AV equipment and processing RMAs for warrantied repairs.
  • Providing technical guidance and training to other team members.
  • Ensuring all safety standards required by OSHA are implemented.
