Provides campus growth and capital plans analyses while managing outside consultants to support space planning and land-use studies. Evaluates plans and maintains campus space standards and recommends actions to accommodate growth and achieve greater efficiency. Prepares detailed program documents. Represents the University of Pittsburgh and facilitates public meetings with outside entities. Reviews university-wide planning initiatives, including the City of Pittsburgh, Oakland and its encompassing neighborhoods, and Pitt regional campuses if desired.

• Provides analyses related to campus growth and capital plans.
• Manages outside consultants to support space planning, land-use planning, and campus master planning.
• Coordinates with all working groups, consultants, the campus community, and other related personnel including third parties and outside government entities.
• Reviews and evaluates plans to determine feasibility and compatibility with zoning requirements; maintains campus space standards.
• Makes recommendations to accommodate growth, meet defined standards and goals, and achieve greater efficiency.
• Prepares planning reports, detailed program documents, and related presentation materials.
• Supports other efforts related to the implementation of campus plans and general planning work.
• Serves as the university liaison to outside entities through meeting presentations, serving on committees, and additional various representation opportunities.
• Supporting the university's goals and objectives, navigates the respective governing approval processes and ensures requirements are being met.
Light Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
