About the Position

The Vice President of National Operations Service is responsible for advancing the long-term Company's service strategy by developing and implementing a national “installation to service” playbook that ensures seamless transitions from project completion into ongoing MRO service and support. This role will partner closely with our National Installation business to strategically allocate internal resources and establish a standardized, scalable model for servicing completed installations across the country, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.

Day in the Life

  • Creates and executes a scalable National Self-Perform Service model aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Develops and implements the “Installation to Service” operational playbook to be deployed nationally, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high-quality delivery.
  • Establishes KPOIs, metrics, and tracking mechanisms to monitor service performance, services provided, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partners with leaders from National Installation business to plan for and secure resources to remain on-site post installation.
  • Leads cross-functional coordination between installation, service, dispatch, and customer support teams.
  • Leads and manages all aspects of national self-perform service team, including workforce planning, resource allocation and performance management.
  • Builds and scales a national team of service technicians and support staff capable of self-performing across multiple markets.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery, rapid issue resolution, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborates with Installation leadership to transition project resources into service operations post-installation.
  • Partners with ArchKey Service leadership to ensure optimal resource allocation maximizes scalability within Service business.
  • Ensures seamless handoffs between installation and service phases to maintain workforce continuity and site familiarity.
  • Establishes training programs to ensure technical consistency and safety compliance.
  • Partners with regional and national stakeholders in installation, Business development, Safety, and Finance to align operational goals and ensure unified execution.
  • Works closely with project management and service support teams to ensure efficient scheduling, budgeting and client communication.
  • Serves as senior point of contact for key national service clients post-installation.
  • Drives a high-performance, customer-centric culture on long-term service relationships.
  • Establishes protocols for feedback loops from field service teams to continuously improve customer experience and service standards.
  • Consistently make decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.
  • Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes and activities.
  • Promotes and models Company mission, vision, and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field experience.
  • 10 plus years of progressive experience in construction, installation, or field service operations; at least 5 years in leadership role with national scope
  • Strong background in operations management, construction lifecycle and resource allocation.
  • Proven experience developing and scaling field service operations, preferably in a self-perform model.
  • Experience with service management platforms
  • Excellent leadership, team building and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build programs from the ground up, with operational excellence and service quality at the forefront.
  • Ability to solve problems, both independently and working as a team. Draws on analysis of others and make recommendations that have a direct impact on the Company.
  • Demonstrated strong mathematical skills and financial acumen, critical thinking skills and detail oriented.
  • Strong listening, presentation, negotiation, conflict management and persuasion skills, and the ability to influence potential customers.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong hiring, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to travel to national installation sites.
