Risk and Insurance Analyst

Manages claim related activities for the assigned lines of coverage and assists with underwriting activities, coordinating insurance renewals, and reviewing policy terms and conditions. Analyzes data, researches best practices, and assists in identifying areas of potential exposure to proactively protect the University. Advises stakeholders on implementation of risk management strategies. Updates the risk management information system and associated schedules and documents.
The Risk and Insurance Analyst (RIA) in the Office of Risk Management will be primarily responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise risk management program at the University and when needed, assist in all other aspects of the operational risk management program. The RIA will also be an available resource to the University community in addressing real-time risk management issues that arise.
Will be required to travel across campus for meetings.
