Position Summary:

The department of Information and Technology Services are seeking and individual who can install, diagnose, service, and operate audio-visual equipment, as well as provide superior customer service. All applicants need to be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve these tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Focuses on daily operations, service calls, and project completion for the A/V & Classroom Technologies Services division
  • Works as a liaison between 3rd party vendors and the customer for the division
  • Assists in inventory control and order processing for the division
  • Assesses daily work and effectively prioritizes time efficiently
  • Assists with customer service improvement measures
  • Completes work orders/service ticket for the division
  • Works with the Business Technology Services division manager on billing and purchasing needs
  • Evaluates the division's performance and identifies areas of improvement
  • Assists in technical troubleshooting and problem remediation
  • Assesses user needs and determines the best strategies to meet those needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Ability to work off ladders and scaffolding, lift 50lbs, and work overhead and in tight spaces

Maintain professional work appearance and outstanding customer interaction

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of an earned Associate's Degree in computer science, computer applications, mathematics, or a related field

Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee

Two (2) years of experience in audio visual support preferred
