Responsibilities

  • Work independently with moderate supervision from a Senior or Lead Business Analyst.
  • Take on complex projects with custom requirements.
  • Drive projects forward and lead project meetings during certain phases.
  • Provide support and recommendation to project stakeholders as needed based on system knowledge and requirements analysis.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution for complex problems.
  • Gather, analyze, define and document business & functional requirements.
  • Identify and document business risks, impacts and mitigation options based on requirements.
  • Effectively Present and communicate project requirements via multiple means as necessary, including diagrams, Use Cases, User Stories, verbal presentation, etc.
  • Assist business owners in defining project scope, and managing scope changes.
  • Participate in meetings where business requirements are developed.
  • Secure Business and Functional requirements approval from clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers to meet project deliverables and implementation schedules.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the development team to ensure business and functional requirements are met during the development phase.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the QA team to ensure business and functional requirements are met during the testing phase.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Qualifications



  • Minimum 2 – 5 years’ business analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with API integrations is a necessary qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Effective time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Exposure to the following technical languages: XML, JSON, and SQL.
  • Understanding of databases and table relationships.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and basic project methodology.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.
