Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Manager Infrastructure is responsible to provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight for the operations infrastructure project portfolio. This role ensures that infrastructure initiatives are aligned with business priorities, operational needs, and long-term development plans while maintaining control over financial performance, risk, and operational readiness.

Responsible for orchestrating multidisciplinary project teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the Senior Manager will lead infrastructure governance routines, CAPEX management, and cross-functional alignment without operational involvement in project delivery. The role is critical to safeguard project execution within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards, ensuring operational continuity and sustainable growth.

Key Activities

  • Define and manage the infrastructure project portfolio strategy in alignment with business goals, operational needs, and long-term plans.

  • Lead governance routines, Steering Committees, and project reviews ensuring decisions are made at the right levels and risks are proactively managed.

  • Oversee financial management and CAPEX control for all infrastructure projects, consolidating budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

  • Drive cross-functional and Subject Matter Expert (SME) alignment, ensuring projects are executed within scope, time, and cost without operational involvement.

  • Lead external stakeholder management with contractors, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and utility providers.

  • Consolidate infrastructure project performance reporting, providing executive updates on KPIs, risks, financial status, and strategic issues.

  • Develop, mentor, and performance-manage the infrastructure leadership team, ensuring a high-performance, accountable, and future-ready workforce.

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in infrastructure project delivery, governance models, and operational readiness standards.

  • Ensure operational continuity and business resilience during infrastructure transitions and new facility integrations.

  • Lead change management and risk management processes at portfolio level.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or Architecture.

· Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent).

· Advanced English (C1 minimum).

· At least 10 years total experience in infrastructure, engineering project management, or facilities development.

· At least 5–7 years in leadership roles managing multidisciplinary project teams or infrastructure project portfolios, commissioning, and handover.

Preferred:

· Master’s degree in project management, Business Administration (MBA), or Construction Management.

· Portfolio Management Certification (MoP) or Agile Leadership.

· 3 years’ experience in a senior leadership position (Head of Projects, Senior Manager, or equivalent) overseeing multiple projects simultaneously in a multinational logistics, industrial, retail, manufacturing, or facilities management environment.
