Job Summary
The Administrative Services Assistant provides critical operational support across financial, human resources, and administrative functions within the Institute. This role assists with account reconciliation, internal grant budgeting, and transaction data entry, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate to support compliance and timely reporting. The Administrative Services Assistant also supports principal investigators by facilitating communication with Collaborative Grant Services (CGS) and assisting with invoicing and documentation processes.
In addition, this position supports HR operations, including payroll data entry, onboarding processes, benefits guidance, and staff training on required forms and policies. The Administrative Services Assistant coordinates new hire background checks, oversees enrollment in Institute orientation courses, and assists with planning major conferences and events. This role also serves as the primary point of contact for RFS, CGS, and OSPA regarding documentation, invoicing, and reporting requirements. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments are essential for success in this position.
