Change Management Specialist - Senior

Primary Location: Quantico, VA

Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance and is designated as IT-II (Limited Privileged Access)


Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Change Management Specialist to lead enterprise-level change initiatives across complex IT environments. This role involves analyzing change impacts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth implementation of system and process changes. The candidate will support the full lifecycle of change management activities, including analyzing change requests, preparing impact assessments, coordinating with technical teams, and facilitating CAB/CCB reviews. The ideal candidate brings a structured approach to change, strong communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of change management activities including analyzing change requests and preparing impact assessments
  • Coordinate with technical teams and facilitate CAB/CCB reviews to ensure proper change approval processes
  • Ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, and implemented with minimal disruption
  • Develop release plans and support stakeholder engagement throughout change initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Analyze change impacts using RICECPW components and enterprise ERP systems
  • Develop training and communication materials for change initiatives
  • Support Configuration Management and System Changes requirements
  • Participate in Agile change lifecycle and CAB/CCB participation activities
  • Conduct RICECPW impact analysis in alignment with proposal requirements


Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in change management, process improvement, or IT service delivery
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level change initiatives
  • Strong understanding of configuration management, release planning, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with change boards (CAB/CCB), impact assessments, and documentation
  • Leadership experience managing teams and driving technical outcomes
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and IT-II (Limited Privileged Access) designation
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level change initiatives involving technical and functional teams
  • Familiarity with CAB/CCB processes and change documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • Experience with ITIL-based change and configuration management
  • Knowledge of RICECPW components and enterprise ERP systems
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, SBM, or Jira for change tracking
  • Ability to develop training and communication materials for change initiatives
  • Experience in structured change management and enterprise IT environments

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Standard office environment with ability to work remotely
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computer systems and documentation
  • Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, change board sessions, or training

Travel

  • Minimal to moderate travel required for change board meetings, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise change initiative support
