By working at Harvard University, you join a vibrant community that advances Harvard's world-changing mission in meaningful ways, inspires innovation and collaboration, and builds skills and expertise. We are dedicated to creating a diverse and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
Why join the Harvard Kennedy School?
The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University is one 12 graduate and professional schools at the university. Harvard Kennedy School’s mission is to improve public policy and leadership so people can live in societies that are more safe, free, just, and sustainably prosperous. By combining cutting-edge research, the teaching of outstanding students, and direct interaction with practitioners, we have an impact on solving public problems that no other institution can match. When you work at Harvard Kennedy School, you make a difference.
The Program Manager will oversee the programming and engagement for two prestigious fellowships: the Wolk Israeli Graduate Fellowship, which supports emerging Israeli leaders, and the Gleitsman Fellowship in Social Activism which cultivates students committed to social change. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring familiarity with the Jewish community and Hebrew language skills would be a plus, as one of the fellowships engages deeply with Jewish leadership and culture. That said, both fellowships benefit from a thoughtful, inclusive, and community centered approach to leadership development.
At the heart of the Center for Public Leadership’s (CPL) mission are our graduate student fellowships, which provide robust leadership development and training to rising public leaders each year. The fellowships offer students an intensive, cohort-based co-curricular program grounded in servant leadership and experiential learning that supplement students’ time in the classroom. The programming speaks to the core of CPL’s and Harvard Kennedy School’s (HKS) commitments to improving public leadership across the globe.
