Responsibilities

Point person for team members involved in the clinical, business, and educational aspects of procuring supplies and equipment.  Train and monitor performance of vendors related to timeliness, packaging, and meeting Legacy’s contractual freight objectives. Train and perform warehouse functions regarding EBC (Enterprise Business Capabilities) system (transfer, receiving, inventory management, etc.). Track data for relevant performance indicators and quality monitoring.



Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with purchasing and inventory control standards and practice in a customer service setting.  Surgery tech or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) experience helpful.

 

Skills:

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.  Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to train and effectively solve problems. Proficiency in using a personal computer in a network setting. Ability to work in a warehouse setting (lifting, bending, standing, and walking on cement floor).  Proficient ability to perform data entry. Possessing knowledge of medical terminology, medical supplies, and equipment.
