Data Analyst - Journeyman (Day/Swing)

Primary Location: Quantico, VA

Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance


Job Summary

We are hiring a Journeyman Data Analyst to support enterprise operations by ensuring data quality, monitoring interface performance, and supporting audit and compliance efforts. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze Oracle EBS data, resolve data issues, and deliver insights that drive operational efficiency. The position requires supporting data-driven operations, troubleshooting interface issues, and contributing to audit and compliance efforts across Oracle EBS sustainment, interface data monitoring, audit support, and operational analytics. This is a shift-based position covering Day and Swing shifts with different focus areas: Day shift focuses on reporting and dashboards; Swing shift focuses on trend analysis and backlog cleanup.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze data flows across internal and external interfaces
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) for data integrity issues and system incidents
  • Assist in the resolution of data-related trouble tickets and audit findings
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data extracts for operational use
  • Collaborate with interface and system teams to validate data mappings and transformations
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring data traceability and documentation accuracy
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide data insights to support backlog prioritization
  • Maintain awareness of system performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support Operations Support, Interface Management, Audit, Data Management, and System Administration
  • Provide 24/7 operations support across Day and Swing shift schedules


Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a federal or ERP environment
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite data structures and reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with data quality management, interface monitoring, and audit support
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to workday and Swing shifts (Day: reporting and dashboards; Swing: trend analysis, backlog cleanup)
  • Experience working with Oracle EBS data structures and reporting
  • Experience supporting data quality or audit readiness in a federal or ERP environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting 24/7 operations or shift-based environments
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps environments
  • Experience with data reconciliation, root cause analysis, and interface control documents
  • Knowledge of audit compliance frameworks and data traceability
  • Exposure to system integration and external data exchange processes
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing data across interfaces
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS sustainment and operational analytics

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Secure office environment at Quantico, VA with no remote work capability
  • Ability to work Day and Swing shifts as operational requirements demand
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on data analysis and system monitoring
  • Must be able to work in a classified environment and handle sensitive operational data
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or operational support

  • Minimal travel required for training, system upgrades, or operational support activities
