Responsibilities

Internal Audit

  • Conduct walkthroughs and document internal controls for key processes.
  • Assist in testing control effectiveness and compiling audit evidence.
  • Draft portions of audit reports and summarize findings.
  • Track remediation plans and follow up on outstanding audit issues.

Vendor Risk Management

  • Help review vendor due diligence documentation and risk ratings.
  • Support third-party risk assessments and monitoring activities.
  • Maintain vendor risk dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with procurement and legal teams on vendor onboarding.

Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

  • Assist in updating and maintaining the enterprise risk register.
  • Support risk assessments by gathering data and preparing risk profiles.
  • Help analyze emerging risks and trends across business units.
  • Participate in risk committee meetings and document key takeaways.

External Assurance

  • Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors and regulators.
  • Help reconcile audit requests with internal records and systems.
  • Track deliverables and timelines for assurance engagements.
  • Summarize key findings from external reviews and support response planning.


Qualifications



  • Currently a junior enrolled at a local Atlanta University (e.g., Georgia State University, University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University), pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field. 
  • 3.0 GPA and above;
  • Students expected to graduate from May 2027 through Dec 2027.
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and presentations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent teamwork and client service skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement
  • Comfortable working with various levels of client management, including members of senior and executive management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people even under challenging circumstances
