DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Operations Key Account Manager in Gabon. In this specific position you will coordinate customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics processes and results in the supply chain of a specific client using multimodal means of transportation and provide support to sales team in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Operations Key Account Manager position

 
  • You will coordinate customer operations plans and processes.
  • You will coach and guide the team for execution of day-to-day tasks and activities to meet work schedules and targets.
  • You will monitor the processing of complex customer orders and the flow of goods and information across a customer’s global supply chain, providing resolution for order/delivery issues.
  • You will participate in customer reviews and analysis of performance indicators to identify areas of improvement for enhancing overall service quality.
  • You will review and ensure systems are updated with the latest information on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc.
  • You will assist the sales and commercial teams to provide support in a timely and accurate manner.
  • You will guide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries, including customer visits and enhanced understanding of customer requirements.
  • You will collaborate with customers, other logistics operations departments, and IT specialists to ensure smooth customer-related process flow.
  • You will track the timely distribution and communication of amendments to operational procedures and enhance adherence to operating standards and procedures to provide cost-effective, superior, and efficient customer service.
  • You will serve as an escalation point for customer operations staff, customers, and operation teams.
  • You will prepare and summarize reports related to customer inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, delivery/service problems, reasons for product returns, etc.
  • You will study training requirements for customer relation specialists and ensure adequate development and coaching of the team.
  • You will highlight issues and opportunities, and execute better practices for customer operations focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
