POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Primary duties and responsibilities include functions and assignments associated with monitoring compliance across all areas of the Mission Support Services (MSS) contract located at White Sands Missile Range, NM. Responsible for ensuring services and processes meet the requirements as stated in the MSS Performance Work Statement (PWS). Ensure efficient and effective resource use at the lowest cost. Develop a systematic approach to monitor operations including metrics to measure performance and effectiveness of services provided. Prepares and submits reports on the status of contract compliance. Duties include identifying and facilitating continuous process improvement and quality assurance with a focus on operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Identify and improve the outcomes of operational processes to improve efficiencies, meeting contractual requirements, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues, and create process documentation. Develop methods for identifying deficiencies and address processes for corrective action. Perform industry research to identify methods and practices that will result in more effective or efficient technical execution. Provide recommendations to the COR in their semiannual Self-Assessment Report. Position also requires effective communication with contract management, WSMR leadership, and customers.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in industrial relations, social sciences or a related field. Six (6) years of experience reviewing, monitoring, and developing contract or other compliance programs. Working knowledge with applications in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication skills, decision-making skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, organizational skills and computer skills. Must have a valid driver’s license. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university. Lean Six Sigma certified. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP certified.
