The Information Systems Business Analyst for the DeCPTR-Nuclear project will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust knowledge management framework to support nuclear radiation survivability testing. This role involves analyzing business processes, designing information systems, and managing data to ensure the efficient dissemination and utilization of critical testing information. The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data integration and knowledge sharing, enhancing the program's capacity to develop innovative standards and methodologies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes related to nuclear radiation testing and identify opportunities for improvement in data management and knowledge dissemination. 
  • System Design and Implementation: Design and implement information systems that facilitate the collection, organization, and retrieval of nuclear radiation test data, ensuring alignment with program objectives. 
  • Data Integration: Develop and manage data integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility across different systems and stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge Management: Establish and maintain a centralized knowledge management system to capture and disseminate insights from testing activities, promoting collaborative learning and innovation. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure effective use of information systems and knowledge management tools. 
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation on system performance, data integrity, and knowledge management activities, providing insights for decision-making and continuous improvement. 

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, information systems, or knowledge management, preferably within the defense or aerospace sectors. 

Preferred:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in information systems design, data management tools, and knowledge management platforms. 
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile or Lean practices. 
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. 
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, fostering cooperation and knowledge sharing. 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven solutions to complex challenges. 
  • Compliance: Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and DoD regulatory requirements related to information security and data management.
