Overview

Lutron is seeking a collaborative and detail oriented individual to join the Logistics team as a Logistics Specialist at Lutron's Annex office location in Center Valley PA. In this role, you will work closely with customer service, suppliers, strategic vendors, and corporate operations to support our transportation processes. You will support Lutron’s transportation management system (TMS) as well as coordinate transportation for inbound raw materials, interplant finished goods and outgoing orders to customers throughout our supply chain.

 



Responsibilities

  • Transportation Management System (TMS) operational design execution including carrier integrations, supplier set-up, and troubleshooting
  • Day to day global logistics management of inbound raw materials, intercompany, and outbound finished goods
  • Proactive management of customer order delivery to ensure positive customer experience
  • Claims processing
  • Build expertise in transportation, logistics, and customer service interactions. Incorporate understanding of trade compliance
  • Create and promote strong relationships with Customer Service, manufacturing and distribution plants, purchasing and planning, trade compliance, and Transportation providers
  • Leverage carrier and Transportation Management System (TMS) data to optimize and improve Logistics processes
  • Establish Logistics processes, procedures, and flow charts for assigned logistics areas
  • Create reports and presentations as required to communicate logistics processes and results


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma required; associates or bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in global logistics across various modes preferred
  • Profiency in MS Office required; Salesforce or Transportation Management System (TMS) experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel 5% of the time, sometimes with little notice
