Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is seeking a versatile, and highly reliable, Operations Coordinator to support the Defense Science Board (DSB). The DSB is comprised of former senior military and government officials, as well as industry leaders and academia that provide independent advice to the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (USD(R&E) and senior Defense Department (DoD) leadership on modern science and technology (S&T) challenges. The Operations Coordinator will provide tasking, correspondence, facility, membership, and studies coordination for all DSB formal and informal meetings and interactions as required by DSB government staff.
As DSB Operations Coordinator, you will:

Provide programmatic support directly to Defense Science Board Executive Director.

Provide Programmatic and Administrative Support: Support may include:
? Submitting, tracking, and responding to actions in the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
? Office management and leadership
o Brainstorm and offer creative solutions to address office needs in most effective manner
o Coordinate the posting, archiving, and sharing of DSB studies, reports, and products
o Monitor and manage DSB office email mailboxes and calendars
o Conduct Records Management of DSB official records as needed
o Coordinate the utilization of DSB websites and network data storage systems
o Event Assistance: Assist in preparation and execution of special DSB events and other office-level meetings
? Assist DSB team in processing and tracking Special Government Employee (SGE) status of DSB members
? Assist DSB team in tracking DSB FACA process
o Compile, package, and publish all FACA notes/materials from Studies and Task Forces
o Support Annual Comprehensive Review (ACR.)
Track and coordinate all taskers/drills/exercises within the DSB office assigned to DSB Executive Staff to ensure no deadlines are missed.

Support the DSB office in managing its membership/Task Force database as well as provide timely offer effective written/verbal communication to advance office goals. This includes compilation of information from Task Forces, copying and binding of briefings and reports, formatting slides, planning pre-brief review sessions, providing hard copies, submitting read-a heads, and obtaining the appropriate releasability through the ASD(R&E) process, and other related efforts.

Facilitate communications between the DSB office, DSB members, government agencies and other stakeholders.

Under general supervision, conducts studies and analysis of pertinent topics.

Apply analytical problem-solving methodologies, and assist with report writing, editing and compilation of meeting notes.

Provide analytical support to Defense Science Board task forces as assigned. Support includes:
– Conduct background research (i.e. archival analysis of previous DSB studies, public and private sources for relevant data, etc.)
– Coordinate and prepare meeting agendas and report outlines at the direction of the Government.
– Facilitate communications among task force members, Government advisors, and invited guests and speakers
– Prepare FACA notes for official task force meetings
– Assist in the preparation of task force briefings and final reports
– Support special projects (e.g., Fubini Awards)
