Your work will directly support our mission of making life better for others.


As the Site Lead, you’ll blend your advanced cardiac sonography skills with leadership responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations at your site. From performing complex echocardiograms to mentoring staff and optimizing workflows, your expertise will help deliver safe, high-quality care while creating a positive environment for patients and colleagues.


You’ll work in either pediatric or adult cardiac imaging, depending on your skills, experience and site needs



Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & support your team – Coordinate day-to-day staffing, workflow, and training; act as a resource for complex cases and new technologies.
  • Deliver expert imaging care – Perform a full range of echocardiography studies, including 2D/3D, Doppler, TEE, stress echo, bubble studies, and more.
  • Champion quality & safety – Ensure the highest imaging standards, oversee equipment maintenance, and promote a safe, respectful patient experience.
  • Collaborate across teams – Work closely with physicians, nurses, and management to achieve the best outcomes for patients of all ages.
  • Mentor & grow – Onboard and guide new staff, share knowledge on advanced therapies, and help shape the future of cardiac imaging at Legacy.


What You Bring

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent
  • Expertise in echocardiography for a wide range of patient populations (neonate to geriatric)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—you’re approachable, solution-oriented, and a natural collaborator
  • Ability to place IVs, administer contrast, and manage emergent situations
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth


Qualifications

Education:

  • Completion of accredited cardiac sonography or echocardiography certificate program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
