Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the storage and distribution operations. Directs employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment, and distribution of a variety of bin and bulk materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on weekly or monthly bases. storing, issue, shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises all functions of receiving storing and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
- Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
- Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
- Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on weekly or monthly bases.
- Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager.
- Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
- Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations a to the scheduling of projected work.
- Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract. Uses Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.

- This position supports the DOD on a federal installation and the candidate must be available to work at the assigned physical location during business hours.

- 7:00AM-3:30PM (M-F)
- 2:30PM-11:PM (M-F)
- 5:00AM-1:30PM Saturday
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Other duties as assigned/approved by management.
- Oversees day to day planning, implementation and problem solving of a team in the performance of the team's assignment
- Must be able to devise steps necessary to complete tasks.
- Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Maintain and support the TLC QC/Safety program.
- Will comply with all OSHA regulatory safety standards
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise other staff on-site in daily routine work functions.
- Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
- Must maintain accountability of equipment.
- Must have strong communication skills, make informed decisions, maintain a safe work environment, while upholding company policies and fostering teamwork
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Essential : - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in DSS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.
- Experience shall include as a minimum three (3) years' experience in distribution and warehousing using DSS or equivalent automated Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising/leading personnel on a government contract
- Possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, and manage the successful completion of the work.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property.
- Must have the ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
- Must be capable of adjusting work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within the available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to customers, internal and external, clients and other employees in the organization. Ability to interpret instructions and information and explain to others in the performance of this job in English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally performed in an office environment which requires sitting or standing and working on a
computer for long periods of time . Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Must have the ability to work indoors or outdoors in bad weather. Handle equipment/supplies weighing 30-50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone. Wearing of safety equipment (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS: This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required.
