?WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • An open-minded approach and committed to delivering continuous improvement initiatives that will enhance the experience for both DHL and our customers.
  • Analyze and mitigate health and safety risks for associates, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal obligations.
  • Ensure effective communication of policies and practices across the operation.
  • Implement security measures to protect personnel, assets, and customer products.
  • Ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement programs.
  • Lead operational performance reviews focusing on profitability and efficiency.
  • Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and internal targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching for direct reports.
  • Engage employees in improvement activities and environmental initiatives.

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
  • Experience in managing large teams with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Customer-facing with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with working within a unionised environment is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to build trust with excellent people skills.
