An exciting career as a?Program Supervisor in Hunt Valley, MD is available at Tessco! We are looking for a collaborative individual who will Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external partners. This role will focus on overseeing and managing the Turf Programs at Tessco.This role will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with customers while ensuring the Turf programs are running smoothly and effectively while achieving their intended goals. The Program Supervisor will manage a Team of Program Managers, Program Specialists and Program Coordinators, as well as coordinating with other departments within Tessco to ensure the program is well-integrated and aligned with the overall goals for our customers and Tessco. This role is also responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that are scalable to align with the program requirements and training the Program Managers and Program Specialists for flawless execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing the program team, including training, development opportunities, performance evaluation and disciplinary action · 
  • Assigning and coordinating tasks, prioritizing work, and ensuring program items are completed on time and within budget · 
  • Developing and implementing program policies, procedures, and work standards · 
  • Evaluating program effectiveness, identifying areas of improvement, and making recommendations for modifications · 
  • Preparing and presenting, internally and externally, reporting, dashboards, etc. on program activities and effectiveness · 
  • Communicating and coordinating with other teams within Tessco and our external partners · 
  • Proving guidance and support to team and other parties · Representing the program and team at meetings and events · 
  • Champion or assist with projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business · 
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Program Supervisor, Program Manager, or Program Coordinator role · 
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory skills · 
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) · 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and manage time effectively · 
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with others · 
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently · 
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also important

Travel requirements: 10% - 15%

Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
