Position Summary - this position is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the strategies to grow our distribution business in North America.



Responsibilities

  • Build influential relationships with senior leadership at our distribution partners
  • Develops and drives growth strategies for new and existing product portfolio
  • Monitors competitive market intelligence and trends to modify strategy
  • Coordinates activities with Product Management and Pricing teams to maximize product line growth with assigned distributors
  • Partners with marketing team to develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns
  • Partners with Regional Sales Managers to develop and drive regional distribution growth sales plans
  • Analyzes sales trends to maximize customer reach, inventory requirements and growth opportunities
  • Develops and executes a consistent QBR process with our top 4 distribution parts, and an ABR with the balance
  • Develops and executes a process for maintaining excellent distributor scorecard performance
  • Performs a monthly review of the channel for internal stakeholders, including POS and Distributor booking growth vs peers and across the electronics industry


Qualifications



  • Ability to travel an estimated 25% as required to support distributors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management or technical degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of electronic components manufacturer or distribution experience
  • Ability to lead and problem solve in unstructured environments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
