**THIS ROLE WILL BE AT A CUSTOMERS NEW WAREHOUSE FACILITY IN Mt. Juliet, TN ANTICIPATED START DATE IS AUGUST 1, 2025**

Role Summary

Summits warehouse associates play a pivotal role in fulfilling our customers needs for materials and services by receiving in new material from our vendors, picking customers orders for will call or delivery, and participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices.  This role is Summits entry level branch position and an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit.

Principle Accountabilities

• Forklift experience (sit down forklifts & reach trucks) 
• Attention to detail 
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summits commitment to a safe workplace.
• All associates will be cross trained to handle both inbound and outbound responsibilities 

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Time management strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
• Flexibility ability to effectively adapt to change
• Strong customer service orientation

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Aptitude for learning

Physical Challenges

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
