Electrical Engineer
Cushing Terrell is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join and enhance our electrical team in Austin. This presents a thrilling opportunity to take on a project lead role, serve as a mentor, and grow in your career.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure

As a Cushing Terrell Team Member, You Will:
  • Utilize Autodesk MEP Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Outlook, and Microsoft Office proficiently
  • Have a deep understanding of building systems, their pros and cons, costs, and efficiencies
  • Lead project interviews and prepare fee proposals while negotiating contracts
  • Assist in business development and participate in project interviews
  • Act as Engineer-in-Charge, making technical decisions and reviewing construction documents
  • Manage project schedules and represent Cushing Terrell in meetings
  • Review drawings and provide feedback to the project team
  • Oversee the work of consultants and team members in preparing documents
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while maintaining client relationships
  • Execute supervisory responsibilities in line with company policies
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and continuous feedback to team members
  • Be a resource for continuing education and professional development
  • Engage actively in your professional growth
*This role primarily involves office work with occasional site visits for verifications and surveys.
Compensation:
Salary is based on location. Candidates from outside the specified regions are encouraged to apply as salary ranges may vary.
  • Expected Range*: $100,000 to $130,000
  • Eligible for an annual performance bonus
*Actual salary will be determined based on experience, licensure, location, and other relevant factors.
